First look at New LEGO ® Legends of Chima™ Water Park Before it Opens to the Public

This summer season you can beat the heat and not feel a burn in your wallet at the new LEGO® Legends of Chima Water Park presented by Cartoon Network™ at LEGOLAND® California. LEGOLAND California Resort was recently named the #1 theme park for families by Parents Magazine and they are adding to the family fun with the opening of their new water park on May 24th.  We are offering a first look at the park before it opens to the public on Memorial Day weekend.

Every childhood fantasy will come to life on land and in the water. If you ever dreamed about floating through an 18 foot high LEGO® lion arch into an interactive pool, building your own boat to race against friends and family members, or sliding through the jaws of a massive LEGO® crocodile this new interactive water park is one stop family entertainment for you and your viewers.

About Julie: Julie Estrada came to LEGOLAND® California, a family theme park in Carlsbad, California, in 2003 after more than 13 years in the media, most recently at KUSI-TV in San Diego. Estrada held many positions in 10 years at KUSI-TV, being one of the first female Executive Producers at the independent station. At LEGOLAND California Resort, Estrada’s responsibilities include being a spokesperson for the theme park, SEA LIFE Aquarium, LEGOLAND Water Park and the new LEGOLAND Hotel implementing multi-level public relations campaigns on local, regional and national levels, arranging interviews, coordinating special events, developing/maintaining relationships with media and coordinating VIP/celebrity tours.  Estrada has gained coverage in national media including CNN, USA Today, The Washington Post, Good Morning America, Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, People Magazine and The Travel Channel.
